Pulling up and cousin fun

Graesen pulled himself up to standing today for the first time!  We were at our mom/baby group and he crawled over to a window (the one in the pictures) and just stood up.  Of course, I had taken pictures of him before he did then turned the camera off, so I didn't get any pictures of the actual standing.

My sister, Rachae, and her family are in town for spring break, so we have all been enjoying a lot of time together.  Last night Graesen and Phoebe took a bath together so that they could get in their pajamas before they went home and be all ready for bed.  It was so cute!  Phoebe thought that she needed to take care of Graesen, so she tried to wash his hair!
Then later in the night she decided that Graesen needed a diaper change.  She found a diaper, then tried (unsuccessfully) to get Graesen to lay down.
Tonight all four of the cousins took a bath together.  Apparently, when one takes a bath, the rest decide they need one too.  Too cute!

Here are some other cute pictures from the last couple of days:

Weekend Adventures

Graesen and I traveled with my mom over to the west side of the state this weekend. We were there to celebrate Addison's (my niece) 3rd birthday.
Graesen did not particularly like the drive over, unless he was asleep.  It was too bad he couldn't see out his window better, because there were some beautiful views.

Once there, Graesen really enjoyed some time with his cousins on a playground at the beach.
He even got to feel the cool waters of the Puget Sound for the first time.
His cousins had a lot of fun in the water too! :)
Graesen also got to experience feeding chickens for the first time.

The Hello Kitty party was very fun. Graesen got to help make his own flower pot. Unfortunately, he decided he liked eating his marker more than drawing with it (thankfully it was washable and non-toxic).
Graesen even made a friend with Cora. He liked her at first, until she pulled his hair and pushed him. He cried. I think he was a little embarrassed to be beat up by a girl :)

On the way back we took the ferry. Graesen loved looking out the window and playing on the floor (I did my best to keep him on the blanket).
The coast guard kept us safe!
I was very excited, because I saw the fin of either a whale or a dolphin. I wish I knew for sure which (if it was a whale it was only the top of the fin). I am always looking for whales when I am on the ferry.
We stopped for some shopping on the way home.  Poor Graesen was sooo tired after all the fun.

Guess Who...

Crawled today?!
That's right, Graesen crawled today at church.  He was squirming the whole service, so afterward my mom (we go to the same church) put him down on the ground like he had been wanting.  He saw my purse and decided that he really wanted to see it, so he crawled!  I tried to get a picture or video of him crawling later on in the day, but he wouldn't do it all the way when I got the camera out.  Oh well, I guess I can get a video later.
 He's so proud!

Cousins make good friends

I baby sat my niece, Phoebe, today. We visited my dad's work to get my tires changed, shopped at Target for a wedding shower gift, had a picnic lunch, played with bubbles, played on a swing set, then crashed.  The kids
(or maybe babies is a better way to put it) did so good!  They were hardly fussy all day and really enjoyed being around each other- a far cry from a few months ago when Phoebe was busy wishing I would put Graesen back where he came from.

Little Superhero and more

My nephew just turned 5 and had a superhero birthday.  We missed the party, because we were in Florida, but my sister sent over wrist bands, a head band, and monster repellent for Graesen.
Superheros use pacifiers, right?
Evan graduates from culinary school next week, so Monday night we went to a graduation dinner for everyone in the program.
The other day, Graesen tried to figure out how to grab the water that was flowing out of the faucet.  It was so cute!
