Bike hat and outdoor fun

This afternoon Evan and I decided to see if Graesen was tall enough for his tricycle yet.  He needs about 1 more inch, but he was so excited about the tricycle that I decided we could take it to the park to play around some more.  Graesen fell in love with his helmet.  We told him it was his bike hat so that he would put it on (he loves Evan's hats).  I actually had to convince Graesen to take the helmet off.  Although maybe he should keep it on since he is so fearless and wild :)

We spent a ton of time outside today since the weather was nice (I'm talking 2 parks, an hour run, and a 45 minute walk).  Graesen loved today.

Poor kid has a super red face tonight (a lot worse than in the pictures).  I am not sure what is causing it.  He has a runny nose too and his chin and cheeks are all chapped/rashy.  I put lotion on him all the time, but it just keeps getting worse.
