Easter eggs

We dyed Easter eggs tonight.  I decided to just lay down an old table cloth (the kind with the plastic coating) and just do it on the ground so that Graesen could be involved.  At first Graesen would just dip the eggs a little.  Then he started dropping them in the cups.  It didn't take long for him to decide that he didn't want to wait for Evan to use the little wire thing to pick up the eggs.  He started just sticking his hand in to grab the eggs.  The eggs were each put in several different colors and cracked many times.  It was such a mess, but so fun!  Graesen actually threw a fit and sobbed when we were done.

Graesen had a reaction to strawberries tonight.  He has had them before, but tonight it was pretty obvious that that was what was causing the bright red rash on his face (it was the only thing he had eaten in a couple of hours).  He loves strawberries, so I am sad that he may no longer be able to eat them.  I think he is allergic to other stuff too, because he gets a red face after eating many things.  We go to the allergy specialist next month to get him tested.
