Mother's Day

Evan had to work today :( so Graesen and I got up by ourselves to head to church.  Graesen made me a card while in the church nursery.  It made my day.

We hung out at my parents' house for a while.  Phoebe and Graesen did a little painting.  Phoebe prefers to paint herself instead of the paper :)

Tonight we went to my aunt's house for dinner.  We had a great time with family.  I feel so grateful to have a wonderful mom and so many wonderful "mother types" in my family.  I always tell people that I felt like I had 5 moms growing up with 2 older sisters, my own mom, and an aunt and grandma who have been extremely involved from day 1 (the women in our family make a very close-knit group).  I have been blessed.  And now I am so happy to be a mom to someone too.
