Weekend trip

Graesen and I traveled to my sister's house this weekend.  My parents, sisters, and brother in law all had tickets to a concert, so I came over to babysit my neice and nephew/spend time with everyone.  We drove over last night, and didn't get in until after 1am.

Today the kids played so hard.  They ran around my sister and brother in law's property and had a great time.

 We went to a beach for a few hours.  It was low tide, so it was fun to see all the crabs and sand dollars.  Graesen was in heaven.  There were some kids from a rowing crew there and Graesen thought that he should hang out with them.  It was so sweet, because one of the boys showed Graesen how to throw the (dead) sanddollars into the water.

This afternoon the kids played in the kiddie pool and went on the slip n' slide.  Aidan was the only one who really got the concept of sliding, but they all had a great time.  We were so happy to have nice weather. 

Tonight the kids ate pizza and all kinds of snacks, because really what kind of aunt doesn't spoil her neices and nephews a little when she is in charge?  They are now all sleeping peacefully!
