Going...going...crash

Graesen is a bit of a wild child.  He's the kind of kid who will play until he crashes.  This week with the cousins in town he has been going non-stop.  He loves all the business, but is getting so tired.  First of all, Graesen slept in until 10 today.  This is almost unheard of around hear.  After shopping for food for his birthday party (coming Sunday!) he spent some time playing with water with his cousin Phoebe. 

I had to drag him away so I could go to work (I work in a gym nursery in the summer since sub teaching only pays for months school is in).  By the time we got there (it is only a 5-7 minute drive) he was out.  I laid him down and he slept for an hour.  Then kids showed up, so it was time to play!  Napping is also a rarity for Graesen lately.

Graesen modeled my flip flops for me while at work.  Socks with sandals.  He is so cool :)

Then we went back to my parents' house so my sister and I could run and watch a movie.  Graesen enjoyed swimming and snacks with his cousins.

I attempted to get Graesen (and Phoebe) to fall asleep before we started the movie.  It didn't work.  Graesen spent the whole walk saying, "Look, Mommy!  Look!" about everything he saw.  He continued to fight sleep until all of a sudden he crawled up next to me on the couch and crashed.  Poor kid is so tired.  I almost feel bad, but not really because he is having so much fun.
