After jumping I decided to go through a car wash, because my car was desperate for a wash and vacuum, and let's face it, car washes are kind of fun. I started going through and I was thinking that we were moving faster than I remembered moving through there the last time. Next thing I know one of the car wash workers is maneuvering through the machines to knock on my window. I had forgotten to put my car in neutral. It was in drive. I was so embarrassed and I did not get a proper car wash due to my mistake, but there was no way I was going back through and facing the car wash guy again. I am sure I was probably the store of the day at the car wash :)
This afternoon I pulled out some art stuff for Graesen. Graesen has an art table in the basement, but there are some things that he cannot do without my supervision. On top of that I have noticed that Graesen doesn't really like sitting in a chair to do his art. He likes to be able to move around his art work, so if I sit him in a chair he is likely to try and climb onto the table to get a little closer. I decided to just put a plastic table cloth on the dining room floor and let him go to town. I mean who am I to inhibit his artistic process? :)
He used paint, paint dotters, glitter, glue, and stamps. He even learned to stamp his whole body :)
Tonight I took Graesen for a run and the light was so pretty in the sunset, so of course I had to get a couple of pictures.
A little side note, Graesen kept calling me a "good boy" today. Any time he saw me cleaning he would say, "Good boy." He said the same thing when I joined in the art with him.
He also insisted on putting some big boy underpants over his pajamas this morning. It was awesome and very super hero-ish, but I failed to get a picture :(
