The battle of the car seat

Lately Graesen has been throwing major fits about his car seat.  Some of the time he goes in easily, but a lot of the time he throws a giant fit.  He seriously thinks that he should be allowed to drive the car.  It drives me crazy!  I am wondering if he will do better when we switch him to forward facing.  He is almost to the maximum height for rear facing on his car seat.  For safety reasons I want him rear facing as long as possible.

Graesen threw one of his car seat fits while we were leaving a doctors appointment this afternoon.  We were going to go to the park, but I told him we couldn't go if he didn't stop fighting me.  He didn't stop, so we didn't go :(

Evan watched Graesen before he left for work today so that I could go shopping with my birthday money.  I got myself some nice new clothes :)  Evan took a picture of what Graesen did while I was gone:

Speaking of the doctors appointment, I went in needing allergy meds and came out with a referral for a gi doctor.  I got the prescription for the allergy meds too, but the gi referral was a bit of a surprise.  While I was in there I decided to ask the doctor what she thought of my very frequent stomach aches.  I know that they are related to eating wheat, but now even the tiniest bit of wheat can set it off (I tested positive for a wheat allergy about 12 years ago, but up until recently I could still eat it without a problem-it only bothered me if I ran/drove by a wheat field).  Sometimes I don't even eat wheat and I still get a stomach ache!  It is getting frustrating, and now my stomach hurts in more than one spot.  I asked the doctor if she thought it sounded like maybe my wheat allergy sounds a little more like celiac disease.  She said it might be and since she wants to make sure that everything gets looked properly she referred me right away.  She also had me get my blood drawn to test my thyroid levels since thyroid issues can sometimes cause stomach problems, and my thyroid has been off before.  Graesen did not like me getting my blood drawn.  He started crying big tears and trying to reach up and push the nurse's hand/needle away.  I guess he is a little protective of me :)  I spent the whole time trying to get him to not shove the needle away and telling him that it didn't hurt.  Next time when I have a doctors appointment while Evan is at work I think I will be leaving Graesen with a sitter.
