Friday night Evan, Graesen, and I headed out of town to go to a hot air balloon festival. Evan's parents were taking their tent trailer down, so we stayed with them for a night. Watching the balloons was pretty cool and Graesen was rather impressed. One balloon was taking kids up 10-15 feet just to see what it was like. The guy offered Graesen and I a turn, but as we got near the balloon he started crying. I think the noise scared him. There was also a street fair and sidewalk chalk contest going on. After we enjoyed that for a bit we headed back to the trailer then went for a swim in the pool. It was super hot (seriously the weather lately has been hot-cold-hot-cold), so the water was nice. Graesen also got to enjoy playing on a playground. Before we headed back that night we had dinner with Evan's parents. During the middle of dinner Graesen suddenly fell asleep then fell forward and hit his head on the table. I think he was a little tired :)
Today was Phoebe's birthday party. The girl is all about princesses and horses right now and she got lots of both things. Graesen, of course, helped Phoebe open presents, blow out the candles, and even eat her princess cake when she walked away:)
Tonight I had my sister, mom, aunt, and grandma over to my house for dinner and a movie. It gave me a chance to use some of my halloween stuff :)
