Build a Bear

Before Evan headed to work today, we took Graesen to Build a Bear.  I have been looking forward to this ever since I heard of Build a Bear, which was way before I had Graesen.  I just thought it would be so much fun to surprise my kid with it.  It was :) 
Graesen was very excited.

He chose to make a cat.  He loves his Walter cat, so this did not surprise me.  He was a bit upset, though, when we told him to grab one of the unstuffed cats.  He didn't really understand and thought we were cheating him out of a stuffed kitty :)

He learned how to use the foot pump to help fluff up the cat.

He warmed up the heart.

Then put it into his kitty.

He gave his kitty a bath.

Then he chose a fireman outfit for his kitty and got the kitty dressed.

He got on the computer and named his kitty.

Fire Kitty got a house to go home in :)

Graesen loves Fire Kitty.  This afternoon he showed Fire Kitty how to look out the window for cars and trucks :)

These are just some pictures from our run tonight.  I love my little running buddy, even if he does always tell me he wants to "go fast" when I'm already running :)
