We traveled this weekend to stay with Evan's brother and his wife and enjoy a football game. (Evan's parents came too). This was Graesen's first football game. I'm not sure he could really see the game very well, but he really liked cheering. He also decided to start using a deep voice while talking about or cheering for football. He has apparently decided that he is a man now that he watches football, so he needs to start talking like a man :)
Sunday was mostly spent shopping and going out to eat. Poor Graesen was getting a little tired of being told "no touch." He did okay, though, once we found a small truck that was Graesen-appropriate for him carry around the store and then buy. I mean, really, who can expect a 2 year old to stay on perfect behavior after going out for breakfast, shopping for over an hour at one store, driving 30+ minutes, and then heading to a store with a lot of breakable stuff (where we stayed for about 90 minutes)? Once he got his truck to carry around he was a much happier boy.
On the way back we got stuck in traffic for over an hour. It is never good to see the freeway at a stand-still.
Today we celebrated my mom's birthday (it's tomorrow) at my grandparents' house. Some little boy I know thought that grandma needed help opening her gifts. He also thought that tissue paper might be worth tasting :)
