"Thank you for trees..."

I finally figured out a way to get Graesen to sit through a story out of his little toddler bible.  I read it to him at the end of dinner while he was finishing up.  We read the creation story.  Graesen was really interested in it.  Afterwards, we prayed together and for the first time Graesen understood the concept of repeating what I said.  It was too cute to hear him pray!  One of the things we thanked God for was trees, which was very fitting with what we did this afternoon. 

























Tonight Graesen painted a little wooded cat mask.  It was pretty cute:)

  1. So cute! Our lil guy is 3 and praying with him is still hit and miss. Sometimes he shows NO interest whatsoever, but then there are days where he leads and thanks God for everything in sight. (No joke!) We've been reading Bible stories to him for over a year and now he knows all about Noah, David, and Daniel (and the lions). Keep up the good work! It will pay off!

  2. Awww I am so jealous that you have an actual fall! Your little man is so cute. Once we move back to WA and we spend more time in Spokane we should get the boys together :).
