Running errands and a weird cat

Graesen and I did a little Christmas shopping this afternoon.  He started getting really sleepy while we were in Shopko.  He grabbed me close then started using my stomach as a pillow and fell asleep.  When I tried to move away this was his reaction:

We had to drive thru at Starbucks so we could pick up some gift cards.  We don't usually go to Starbucks (I don't like coffee or tea).  I didn't want to get Graesen out of the car again, so I figured we could do the drive thru, but thought it might be a little weird to go through without buying anything other than the gift cards.  Luckily, I do like apple cider, so I got myself one and a cake pop for Graesen.  Graesen thought the cake pop was a sucker, so he wouldn't bite into it.  He just licked at it :)  On the way home I pulled over to let Graesen look at a house that had some Christmas lights up.  He is very excited about all Christmas things right now, but apparently today he was even more excited about trying to get a hold of my camera.

Our cat, Walter, is so weird lately.  He has developed an odd obsession with faucets.  He cries to be let into the bathroom so he can sit in the tub or by the sink.  It there is no water coming out he will just sit there and stare at it.  Last night I turned the water on for him and he would take a little drink then just stick his head under the water.  He seriously just sat there with water running over his head for a long time :)  I tried to get a picture of it, but he stopped as soon as I got my camera.  It was so funny, though, because he then started trying to clean his head and he made his hair all spiked up.  I love my weird cat :)
