Today Graesen and I met a friend for a play date. I have actually only met Athena once before in college. She was good friends with my roommate, but since then we have spoken via facebook and have followed each other's blogs. She has a little boy just over a month younger than Graesen and an almost 11 month old girl. They were in town visiting family so we met up. The boys did a little crafting together. They were supposed to make snowmen with marshmallows. Graesen ate way more than he put on the picture, so I had to help him put some on there. It got a little interesting when Graesen decided that his picture needed googly eyes all over :)
The kids also spent some time playing with trucks and cars. Hopefully we can see each other again soon for a play date!
Graesen and I also had one of my friends over tonight for snacks and the movie "Elf." It was so great to spend a few hours talking and catching up.
We had so much fun with you! Thanks for spending time with us. I hope you didn't get lost on the way home :).
