Graesen's Splatoon Party

Graesen and his best friend, Liam, decided to have a Splatoon joint birthday party this year.  They loved it.  The kids played giant, lawn twister, painted, had a colored water balloon fight, and ran around playing soccer.  It was a huge hit :)

Caedmon is 2 months old

Caedmon turned 2 months old on Monday. I'm in shock that 2 months have already passed. I love this little guy more everyday!

• Weighed 10 lbs 9.5 oz (21.5%) 5 days before 11 lbs 2 oz 2 days after (different scale-21%)
• 24.5 inches long (95%)
• The nurse said it was hard to give him his shots, because his legs are so tiny.
• Just finished with the last newborn diaper today. He will now wear a combo of cloth and size 1 disposable (still too skinny for some of his cloth diapers)
• Wearing newborn shorts. Everything else is 0-3 months or 3 months, depending on the size
• He rolled over once a couple weeks ago and has been trying to again ever since
• He nurses 6-7 times a day, but takes a lot when he does
• He usually has one stretch of 5-7 hours at night sleeping, and then another stretch of 2-3 hours 
• Taking Prilosec for silent reflux. It helps a lot, but he still has times of discomfort and also struggles with an upset stomach frequently.
• Doesn't like his car seat very much
• Loves his sofie giraffe 
• Loves showers with mom or dad and baths with mom
• Likes to bat at his toys
• Loves to snuggle and talk. He tried to mimic people

Graesen is 7

7 seems so big.  I just don't know what to think about it.  My first baby is suddenly looking like a big kid.  Just in the last couple of months his body completely changed and he lost the last bit of "little" he had in him.
Graesen facts at 7:

• Wears size 7 and 8 clothes, and size 3 shoes
• Loves Paw Patrol, Star Wars, space, and the SeaHawks
• Great student. He works hard and his grades reflect that
• Wants to be an animal rescuer when he grows up.
• Has lost 1 tooth so far
• Generally excited about everything and loves to try new things
• Very social and outgoing
• Has a hard time understanding the idea that not everyone is a good person or nice
• worries about and prays for other people
• Very funny, but doesn't know he is.

This year for his birthday Graesen wanted to "rescue animals" and have a Paw Patrol party.  We chose to go to a local animal rescue place and bring food for the animals there.  Here are some pictures of Graesen's special day and his family party (kid party is coming up).
